Good location, not far from the center of Liverpool. Electric kettle in the room and TV available for guests. Quiet and peaceful district.

Bed too soft but that's personal preference.

The shower in the room worked well. Wi-Fi connectivity was at a reasonable speed. The room was a good size and reasonably clean.

This isn't really a bed & breakfast place in the traditional sense - it's more of a small hostel in a private house - almost a temporary 'house share'. I did not meet Julie at any point during my three night stay and bumped into who I assume was Craig accidentally in the kitchen once.. Although the room was reasonably clean and quite big it did not provide a 'dining area' as quoted - there is an armchair one side of the room and a low occasional table (which had the kettle, tea, coffee etc. on it and not suitable for eating off) the opposite side of the room, and the communal kitchen has no dining area. The minimal breakfast offerings were on a help yourself basis and consisted of three boxes of cereal and a half a sliced loaf in a small cupboard - not particularly hygienic and the cramped communal fridge had only skimmed milk and no juice (the venue description refers to cereal, toast and juice). There are no printed instructions regarding use etc. and where to find utensils and crockery. I think the idea is also to clean up after yourself - although this would be difficult due to the state that the sink etc. was left in most of the time. I did not use any of these "catering facilities" during my stay. Although there is a small cloak room in the hall next to the bedroom (the nearest apparent washing/toilet facility) this had a broken plug and no mirror - so not suitable for shaving. I used what was (I assume) the family bathroom upstairs with the permission of (I think) one of the hosts, Craig, who I bumped into in the kitchen. The venue is not sited in a convenient location for any of the points of major interest in the city and you really need your own transport for convenience (about 15-20 minutes by car into the City Centre).

Clean and functional room. Very fair price, considering it was Eurovision weekend. Even with shared facilities there was still enough privacy. Bus stop very close, with direct connection to the center.

Everything was OK, considering it was just a room with shared bath/toilet facilities. We usually go for whole apartments and sharing the bathroom is not something we would normally choose, but these were special dates and private accommodations/ apartments were not available and/or not affordable. Therefore, thanks to Chateau Julie for the fair price!

Julie, the host, was lovely and super welcoming. Comfortable room and very close to the bus stop for bus 18 to Liverpool city centre. Would stay again.

Julie the host was so friendly and kind . The rooms were lovely clean and comfy. Will definitely be back Dawn

The room was bright and airy. Bed comfy. Door to very nice garden. No restrictions on time of entry or exit
