Chateau julie

Julie is a lovely lady and very helpful with times for buses etc. Also kindly allowed me use the fridge for milk. The location is great and the area fairly quiet except it is on a main road which may bother some people.

The house was freezing, our window allowing wind to blow into the room (only found this on the last day) and the heating rarely on at night and now my son has a chronic chest infection for his Easter holidays. The lodgers or other guests had TVs blaring all night and so many people coming home after midnight and running up and down the stairs loudly meant no sleep. The room was clean but the wardrobes were filthy and the bathroom was disgusting; I had to clean the bathroom myself to use it.

Having a shower in my room and Sky TV with Sky Sports

There was no mirror in my room, plus, they didn't have an iron with ironing board, so, I couldn't iron my clothes for work

It was comforting and homely and Julie made us feel so welcome like it was our own home

The owner of the hotel is nice,she is like my grandma. The facilities of the hotel is also great,hoping that more people can visit the hotel!

The location of the hotel is far from the city center, sometimes it’s hard to wait the bus come to the bus stop.

Julie’s is like a home from home. It has everything you need and she’s a lovely host. I enjoy staying here, I feel safe and very at home. Nothing is too much.
