Lovely friendly host who made us feel welcome immediately. The breakfast was second to none. Perfectly cooked and catered to me as a vegetarian.

My only minor complaint would be not having an ensuite bathroom. However, I know that this is purely logistical with having the family room. Despite this the bathroom was private and only a couple of doors down the hall so not a huge hardship.

Blackburn Villa is a lovely B&B. Very spacious,comfortable and spotlessly clean with Ayr Esplanade and beach at the end of the street. Excellent choice and quality of breakfast for all dietary requirements. Karen is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble for her. Will definitely be returning in the future.....10/10

The choice of food was good and well presented.Room was big and bed comfortable.Good shower and clean and tidy.

Everything. Lovely clean, bright accommodation, with everything we needed. Karen is a wonderful host, clearly a true professional. Great enclosed garden for our dogs. We felt properly at home here.

There was nothing we didn’t like. This was the best accommodation we’ve had in a long while.

All stay was fantastic, Karen is very good host.
