Bryn Mair Gardens

This is a beautiful property which is thoughtfully run by lovely, friendly people. The room we had really was exceptional. It was super comfortable with everything that you could possibly need and with the bonus of a stunning view of Dolgellau. Can't fault the hosts, the facilities or the property. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and you really did feel 'at home' there. Easy walking distance to the centre of town as well. Would love to stay again if we are in the area.

It is a little difficult to get to, especially in a big car or van. Dolgellau is a very old town with the traditional windy, narrow streets and lanes so great care should be taken following the owners directions and not just blindly following the satnav. Totally worth the little extra effort though!

Chris and Louise have put a lot of work and love into Bryn Muir- they welcomed us and offered the gardens and the home living area freely for our use. We enjoyed it immensely

The roads were tight and abit steep but we took as a challenge and part of the ambience

Very tight streets for the last 1/2 mile, not ideal for vans or large vehicles.

A wonderful place to stay with friendly, helpful hosts and excellent breakfast options — the Shakshuka is a real highlight. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Because the roads leading to the property are very narrow, it’s important to follow the detailed directions provided rather than relying on a sat nav; these instructions (with photos) were extremely helpful. Chris is extremely knowledgeable about the local area and was incredibly helpful throughout our visit. We would highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the Dolgellau area.

Lovely part of Wales. Bryn Mair was in a great location. Short walk to village centre. Accomodation great. Lovely breakfast. Highly recommend.

A warm welcome, lovely room, comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast.

Warm, comfortable and welcoming, the owners were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, including walking options and ideas. Some thoughtful touches too such as a mini fridge with fresh milk for tea and coffee, no sachets!
