Bryn Mair Gardens

Chris was the perfect host, a very welcoming place to stay and lovely cooked breakfast together with beautiful scenery form the dining room. We even had fresh milk for the room which added to the personal tough that was felt thorough the house.

Could not find anything to dislike about the place.

Location fantastic, wonderful views, very friendly reception and easy access to town. The room was palatial and warm.

I did not remember to access the booking details with specific directions prior to leaving and found it difficult to locate the property by vehicle due to the narrow roads surrounding it.

The weather laugh out loud but that's the fun of getting wet

My original plan was to use the Bryn mair as a base to drive an hour or more further north for hiking trails closer to mount Snowden and a castle. But the town was so charming with a good selection of moderate hiking trails with scenic views there was no need to drive further. Between the Stag inn, Torrent walk hotel and the Royal Ship hotel there were good choices for food an cask ale.

The narrow streets with the one way routing was too challenging for this American driver, but honestly the public car park, free from 1630 - 10:00 was an easy alternative.i had no difficulty walking the one km up to the Bryn mair. So if I had known about that option ahead of time I would not have been put off with the walk, since I travel with a backpack.

Beautiful, in a peaceful, parallel universe. Delightful gardens, absolutely lovely. The proprietors are welcoming and charming.

Very difficult to criticise really. A little more comfort for sitting in the room itself, but the breakfast room has a superbly comfy sofa - and the bed so comfy I wanted to take it home!

Non si può desiderare di più. Una struttura dove regna la pace, che sovrasta il centro di uno dei villaggi più belli del Galles. La camera era grande, confortevole, pulita. La colazione era favolosa. L'ospite cordiale, gentile, premuroso. Rifarei domani il viaggio per tornarci.
