The Haven

Nice large room and luxurious en suite.

We arrived 10 minutes within stated time. Owner of home said she was not ready yet and could we go to cafe and get back there in about an hour. When we got into the room she then told us that we were not to put the suitcases on the beds and use THE CRADLE - only 1 supplied. She then asked if we wanted breakfast next day and we refused this, she then asked what time we were leaving and we said 10am to which she complained as she said as we were NOT having breakfast we should leave at 8.00 we finally agreed to leave 9.00

Ideal stop over when attending function in nearby hotel. Good old fashioned West of Scotland hospitality from the owner, Janette. Made to feel welcome.

Pillows were rather hard.

The large upstairs window is the seating area out with the bedroom, very pleasant seaview, couple of chairs, table and TV. Relax and have a beer, what's not to like. Super comfy mattresses ensure a great night sleep

Eating options in the village are limited.

Lovely rooms and lovely host. Very clean and bathroom really nice

Absolutely everything. It was clean and the host was friendly and made you feel at home.
