Staff were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

A very minor note - considering everything else was of such an exceptional standard, we were slightly surprised that there were a few minor fittings that didn't quite match up! The bathroom extractor fan in the bathroom looked like something that had been rescued from a 1960's house...it worked fine though. Also, the wiring in the middle of the bar/restaurant looked quite untidy and of dubious integrity? Very minor points though - overall fantastic.

We stayed 15 years ago when we got engaged here, it was still very much the same, spacious yet cosy. One particular member of staff Ben went the extra mile carrying our drinks up to the room.

It being a special occasion, which we’d told the property beforehand, there was absolutely nothing done to celebrate it.
