It was close to the centre of town

Comfortable, clean room with good amenities and a great shower! Friendly host and fabulous breakfast. Liked the way Robertson had gone to the effort of finding out local dog friendly places to eat and even how far to walk. It was nice to stay somewhere with character and the personal touch.

Robertson was an excellent host.The breakfast was great. The B&B was very handy as just across the road from the station.

There was nothing I did not like

Great breakfast choices, many small things to make room feel cozy (tea and cookies etc.) and more cosmetic products than I expected from a B&B. Friendly and helpful owner, and nice dogs. Location close to the station, but still very quiet room. Good value for money.

For a privately run place it was very nice and homely. Food was good and served very well by the owner. Has done an incredible job staying in business competing with other hotels and guest houses. Only real problem is the parking. Owing to the type of building it's impossible to have the parking at the property. Really appreciated the hospitality shown and would consider going again when I visit again

Beautiful place amazing host made us feel welcome plenty of parking near by. Everything you need in the rooms and an amazing breakfast if I was working in Dumfries again I would definitely stay here
