Very clean great location friendly people would book again

Quirky oldy worldy feel. But with clean modern bathroom facilities. Good more healthy breakfast. Cereal,fruit ,toast, yogurt, omelette and bacon. Very well thought out rooms for being rather smaller but comfy.Chris was friendly and informative. Had the added bonus of the use of a lounge and a kitchen if needed.

Nothing we didn't like

Chris and Ana, were very welcoming. A lovely property with bags of character. . Great value for money.

The only thing that wasn't working properly was the tv control didn't. That's all.

This was an excellent location for a short stay in the Rutland area. The accommodation is in a beautiful period building that you’d expect to see in a picture postcard of English village life. After a friendly greeting and chat breakfast order and time was taken and I was escorted to my room which had a nice cottage ambiance. The room was comfortable and quiet ( had the window open all night and didn’t hear a sound ) and the fan in the room was a welcome and effective addition. Breakfast was just what I liked and presented very well. I think other options are available but I didn’t need them. Apart from a cooked breakfast offerings included cereals, yogurt, fruit salad, granary bread and tea or coffee. As well as the room a comfortable lounge and outdoor courtyard space were available to relax in.

That I'd only booked one night, hopefully a situation I'll rectify on my next visit.

Great location, feel of the property, Chris was very friendly, we enjoyed his history of the building. Breakfast very nice.

Room needs a bit of love and a lot of door slamming from 0630, which was disruptive and seemed unnecessary.

Great location for visiting the surrounding area. Chris was a great host and made us a lovely breakfast. The horse and panniers was ideal for our 1 night stay
