The Gremlin Lodge

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Gremlin Lodge. The lodge was really cosy and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. Its location is ideal—very close to all the amenities in Brecon town centre, which made getting around easy. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches on arrival, including fresh bread, milk, and tea/coffee, which made us feel instantly welcome. The lodge was warm and comfortable throughout our stay, perfect for both us and our dog. We did have a small issue with the heating, but the host responded immediately and fixed it within minutes, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, a lovely stay and we can’t wait to come back again!

Basic breakfast. Good location.

Poor lighting downstairs. Unable to read in evenings. Bathroom door doesn’t shut. Hot taps in basins very difficult to turn off fully to avoid dripping. Duvet covers on beds were too small for duvets, so made for uncomfortable sleeping.

Breakfast was provided and it was a good location

The most uncomfortable sofa I’ve ever had the misfortune to sit on. Squeaky and uncomfortable bed, which had to be pushed up to the other single to make a double, but no room to walk around it. The bedside lamps didn’t work. The kitchen knife was broken. No personal touches to make the place feel homely or welcoming. Dirty shower head and wall fitting. Leaky taps. No oven. Glad we’d only booked a short stay and were out most of the time.

We liked everything brilliant stay easy to find everyone friendly good place to to stay close to shops and all emineties.
