Torridon Estate B&B Rooms and Self catering Holiday Cottages

We went to the property but decided not to stay. There was a party going on with live music.

This is a family home with a party going on when we arrived. We decided not to stay.

Rooms and beds were good. The water to drink was suspicious as my husband and I got sick before and after leaving, for a good 9 days. Our two other friends drank bottled water and had no problems. The kitchen was acceptable with enough useable items, knives for cutting were poor. We had no TV as it hadn’t been checked before we came. Also the key for the front door was hard to open and one day we had to call to get it opened. The only other thing would be a book for information on the area and the apartment. If you sleep upstairs you may have a hard time getting into the tub as it is on a platform. If you want to use it as a shower there is a handheld wand but then you have to watch it doesn’t go all over the floor. The driveway is tricky, as it is a one lane road, windy and if you run into anybody you are backing up a long way.

Signage for the place and better instructions for entry when you get there. The place is in the middle of no where and takes awhile to get anywhere, so you have to like being lonely.

Endroit très original et atypique. Nous nous sentions vraiment en Ecosse dans ce manoir. Tout n'est peut être pas parfait mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'ambiance, la propreté et l'espace dans les chambres. Les propriétaires ainsi que la personne qui nous a servi le petit déjeuner étaient très sympathiques. C'est une maison de famille et non un palace même si c'est un manoir..

No variety at breakfast for those stopping more than 1 night Family relaxed feeling No offer of milk/tea coffee top up as we stayed 2 nights . Got impression people stay only 1 night

Beautiful property, nice location.

Very early checking out. You get tired walking on that land up and down. You want sleep and get out of bed bit late. But we have leave house at sharp 10:00. Because clear we’re there

The location was absolutely stunning and we had a picnic alongside the loch. Great hosts who welcomed us in to their home.

Lovely setting and grounds great potential

Abit too “quirky” for us but clean and comfortable room Rooms haven’t been renovated as far as we could tell Electricity struggled (couldn’t boil kettle) Property obviously needs work still and we understand that but was expensive compared to other stays for same price. Very much a family home that rents out rooms

Torridon estate was quirky and magical, different to anywhere else we’d stayed and in the most beautiful location.

Nothing to dislike about it.
