The room was a good size and very comfortable and clean. The hosts, Penny and Paul, were extremely warm, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Proximity to Exeter and Dartmoor National Park was a plus. The b&b is in a quiet location. Spacious sitting area available for guests, together with interesting reading material. Lots of travel information available for local area, including many detailed hiking maps.
No restaurants within walking distance. Property is accessed by very narrow road - nothing unusual for the area but perhaps a bit daunting for some.

It is a lovely old farmhouse, nice and cool. Room was spacious. The breakfast was superb. The only reason I didn't give it top top marks is the bathroom , though just for our use, was not ensuite.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Brook Farmhouse. Zur Begrüßung hat uns Penny mit leckerem selbstgebackenen Kuchen und Kaffee verwöhnt. Unser Zimmer war groß, sehr geräumig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet und lies keine Wünsche offen. Die Gastgeber geben Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung.

It was a great location for the activities we wanted to do. House is a wonderful family home with perfect hosts in Penny and Paul. They had great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Daily cooked breakfast was delicious.
