"An oasis of heaven !"

The double garden view room was gorgeous. The bedroom is very nicely furnished. The veranda was so pretty and views down to the Dart breathtaking. The breakfast was the best I have had with lots of different choices such as muesli with fruit, bagel with salmon and cream cheese, and on the first morning mackerel with lovely breads and croissants The attention to detail was brilliant. I will be booking shortly for next year.

Nothing everything was magnificent There was nothing Anne couldn't do to make our stay perfect. The restaurants she recommended were spot on.

Compass Rose is an idyllic and beautiful place to stay. The hosts are wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. We really enjoyed it, thank you so much.

Parking was a little tight, but we managed it!

The property’s location was exceptional. The views were stunning. The room was amazing and had a balcony that made the most of the views. There was a lot of attention to detail in the room with the hosts little decor touches as well as details on the map to help you find your way around. Ann and Brendan were lovely hosts. Very helpful and friendly. They made the stay really enjoyable. Breakfast was superb with a lot of choice to satisfy all tastes. I will be recommending this property to friends and family and would definitely stay again.

The only negative (and this didn’t in any way impact the stay) was the plumbing. The taps in the sink made a loud noise and the cold tap in the shower came loose.

The room was great with a fabulous terrace with wonderful views. The breakfast was second to none with plenty of choice

Nothing it was lovely - people with mobility issues may struggle with the stairs
