Nothing

Place is perfectly situated for a brief trip to John O' Groats. The famous signpost is just a quick 5 minute drive down the road, also within a 5 minute drive is Duncansby Lighthouse and stacks, worth seeing! Highlight is the fact this place is in such a quiet peaceful location and as you will already be aware as a small petting farm and farmshop on site, operated by the host.

No shower available, just a bath, plus this is a shared bathroom, if other guests are staying in the other available room. Also the coffee/tea making facilities are shared. This however, isn't so much a dislike, just more of a point to highlight to raise the awareness.

Wonderful experience experiencing the farm animals up close and helping the owner feed the lambs. Location I'd perfect for exploring the area and there's an excellent pub within walking distance with very goo food. Puffin Cottage gets five stars from us.

That our stay couldn't have been longer.

Great location, very tastefully decorated and the proprietor was extremely helpful. The small holding has an exceptional number of animals which are a real attraction.

Not a dislike but a drawback was the fact that the bathroom was shared.
