Lundy House Hotel

Location Location Location. Right on the coastal path, walkable to 3 beaches, and bay window looking right out over the bay, right on coast, not even a road between you and the sea.

The room was big and grand, I liked it, my partner found it a bit bare, you are never going to please everyone. It was spacious and clean.

Breakfast excellent and manager friendly and professional

Nothing. Just the location a bit remote for us and could not get a taxi into woolacombe in the evening.

Best aspect was the glass patio doors opening up the front of the property to a large balcony with a fabulous sea view facing the sunset. Also having extra hall/lobby with stairs separating the living quarters. Everything kitchen-wise was provided and all tidy. 3 good sized bedrooms with lots of storage. Host was very responsive on text.

Lack of patio furniture on arrival Friday but rectified by Wed. Wind did cause some disturbance noise on broken guttering which was an issue first 2 days

Would not describe the room as luxury.

Property is pretty close to the shore so if you like the sound of ocean like I do, you’ll love it. I haven’t tried but they offer a varied breakfast, which you can order before 9pm.

It’s located at 15/20 min walk from the centre, but with beautiful views along the way.

Fabulous location, wonderful sea views from the very comfortable bed, fell asleep to the sound of the sea. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Short 10 min uphill walk to great pub food
