Casa Montemar Bed and Breakfast

I was in a room on the roof top that was tucked away. At first it was strange, but then I grew to love it. The roof top was great! Breakfast was good, but there was confusion with my check-in staff telling me it was not included (it was). Its nice to have a pool, but there is nothing special about it and pretty basic.

Different staff told me different things about the breakfast situation. I don't know if I ever figured it out.

Van transfer from airport 750 pesos for 1 adult, 2 kids. Just down the street to McDonald's. Staff held luggage until room was ready, they even moved it into the room before we checked in. They helped us rent a motorcycle and it was delivered to us. Only 1500p for 3days. They also setup 2 tours for us, the tours provided transfer to and from our resort. Staff is always helpful. We booked the triple room, provided us with bed sheets and towels. There's a TV in the room which we didn't use. Fridge in room. My kids had no complaints watching YouTube videos or playing online games with the WiFi. No issues with shower hot water or pressure. Pool was clean. Nice selection of free breakfast. The top floor eating area has a beautiful view of the sunset.

Bring some earplugs as dogs and chickens are heard all hours of the night. They setup our ferry transfer from Coron to El Nido for 830a, when we got to the port we were told it wasn't till 1pm, so we ended up wasting a half the day sitting at the port. It would have been nice to just chill in the pool.

Nice rooftop for breakfast and relaxation.

Deluxe room was not very deluxe. Besides for a bed there was only a very small table. The bathroom was very minimal. The aircon was very loud but at least it drowned out the street noise.

Budget friendly, good breakfast and very good location.

Good location, walkable to any restaurants. We were able to book tours via hotel (but I guess this is possible in any hotel/hostel in Coron)

We had pancakes for breakfast with syrup which was diluted, sour and disgusting. Leaving room key at the reception on desk is not very secure. No toilet paper in the room when we arrived. We had ants all over bathroom, complained to the receptionist and they offered us spray and room cleaning however those ants were there since we arrived to the “clean room”. Ended up changing rooms. WiFi keeps disconnecting.

Air conditioner was very load and irregular. There was nothing delux aboutnour delux room - extremely basic and small room.

The pool was okay. The rooftop view of the sunset spectacular. My room was nice.

A lot of stairs and a general sense of disrepair.

It is in a great location a short walk away from the main road with all the shops and restaurant meaning it wasn't loud at night with the traffic. The staff are lovely and happy to book any tours for you and arrange airport transfers. They also have a fridge for cold drinks to buy which is nice. The breakfast area on the roof has a great view of all of Coron seafront.

We had a pool room but the curtain was quiet thin and it would have been nice to feel like it was a bit more private and we felt with our light on at night people could see in. The aircon is very loud but we got used to it within a few nights. The breakfast is okay.
