Casa Montemar Bed and Breakfast

Very well located, near all the restaurants, shops and the pier where all the tours start. Breakfast was good and the bed really comfy. Staff was helpful and very friendly ! Nice view from the rooftop

All the staff were very helpful, they arranged our 2 day tour.

The staff were helpful. The hotel was in a nice walking distance from the centre.

Ther was no mirror in the rooms. There was no handrail on the steps down to room 17. A wire by the top step does not seem safe

Receptionists were all nice and lovely.

Bed and room was clean. Aircon worked well

Arrived at casa Montemar and was told there was a problem with our room so for 1 night or 2 nights (we had booked 2 nights ) we could stay at their sister hotel "casa Montemar heights" which was nearby We agreed to stay there and I understand the place was super affordable/cheap but they did not warn us there was building works going on in the room next door so it was super noisy in the morning. After having to switch rooms already I felt like this was not okay. Have a feeling the original hotel would have been better.

Close to town proper

No water at night. When it came back it was so dirty and smelly. It took a while to fill up the flush tank even when adjusted.. Couldn’t adjust the water heater, it’s too hot we were not able to use it. We didn’t like that we have to leave the key at the reception every time we go out.

The staff made it possible to move us to a better room when the previous one is not up to standards.

Leaving the keys at the reception desk is very unsecured as other people can easily have access to the rooms especially at times when reception is unmanned.
