Casa Montemar Bed and Breakfast

Super cute pool and pool area, rooftop area was nice for sunset with great views, staff were friendly and accomodating, air conditioning was cool, rooms were clean, tours were easy to book from hotel, tricycle service easy and accessible

Amazing staff! Great view and location, close walk to downtown. There is a nice little pool as well. Breakfast is included which is nice addition, you can have breakfast before going to the tours. Breakfast is at the rooftop. Always breafast with a view.

Water pressure could be better and maybe install a bathroom fan too 🫣😅.

The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. When we got sick they helped us with medicine, when we needed breakfast earlier than serving time they made it happen. They even brought us laundry at 11pm at night when it was a rainy day and it couldn’t dry sooner but we needed it for our departure. The breakfast was adjusted to needs and filling. The pool was clean, however, the hotel’s neighbour keeps burning some things in his backyard so huge chunks of ashes fly in the air and land in the pool. There’s a fridge in the lobby where we could keep whatever we wanted to be cold. The area is close to the Main Street but quiet at night, which for us was good. The AC is loud(the old type of AC) but the noise didn’t bother us one bit in our sleep.

There’s no kettle in the room (even though it says so on the booking page) so whenever I wanted hot water I had to go upstairs to the kitchen.

The staff were most friendly and accommodating, the room is clean and well kept but needs some repairs with door panel, overall the place is good for budget friendly customers and the rooftop has amazing view

Reasonably decent price when you have your whole family with you, comfortable stay and wonderful staff!
