Calcutta Bungalow

The property is beautiful. It is close to the airport, 9 kms or so. The staff is extremely hospitable and welcoming. Their inhouse restaurant offers delicious bengali cuisine. Not a single miss. The rooms are exactly as per the photos shared and super comfortable with cozy vibes.

Wow, what a wonderful boutique hotel this is. So cosy and comfortable that we hardly left it during our short stay (2 nights only). The room was super comfortable and with amenities like hair-dryer, safe, tea and coffee making facilities etc. The rooftop was perfect for breakfast and late afternoon/evening. Rooms absolutely FABULOUS. Unbelievable! Roof terrace served outstanding food. Waiting staff excellent. So friendly, attentive and kind.

Sadly two ladies on reception very disengaged, lacking warm welcome, seemed distracted and uninterested . Even on departure, knowing our vehicle had arrived, she left the desk without even a good bye as we departed. Such a shame that their attitude did not match rest of staff who could not be more attentive. They are the first and last face of the hotel ….

This charming boutique property provides great service and has a fantastic staff. The place has true character and charm. To boot they serve delicious food too! It’s my definite go to in Calcutta going forward.
