Green Hill

Friendly staff , nice views, good food

The road to the hotel is very bad. Very noisy room. Either from ravana pool club or from the bar upstairs. We had to sleep with earplugs.

Our stay at Green Hill was made special by the friendly staff and laid back vibe. It felt like we were living in someone’s home. There were very cute friendly dogs roaming around looking for attention. Special mention to Isshan who was always attentive and friendly as well as Sudhin, hotel manager who was very helpful. The main reason why we booked this hotel was the view and it did not disappoint. Our balcony was huge, views of Ella Rock as well as little Adam’s peak, Ella town and a waterfall as well. Sunrise over little Adam’s peak was breathtakingly beautiful as well as all the little birds flying around.

The bathroom needs a lot of improvement, from the door to the sink and shower. I think a lot of people only stay one night in Ella but we were there for two nights. On the second day, the cleaner didn’t come and we were too tired to ask in the evening.

The view from the property is phenomenal and the staff is very kind and welcoming. They even helped us book cabs and tuk tuk anytime we needed. The breakfast was really good and the view made it even better.

There’s nothing to not like.

Cleanliness missing dirty floors dirty curtains dirty mugs electrical switches broken and mosquitoes in the net thé housekeeping needs to be looked and and more investment in upkeep .The breakfast service was comical with things missing not getting thé milkshake for thé tea which got cold thé breakfast arriving in bits and pieces

Thank you so much for the most amazing stay, the views are absolutely stunning and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff are very helpful - Sunedh and Ishan looked after us very well. The breakfast was also delicious!

Great views over Ella gab, fantastic breakfast. Room lovely clean and comfortable with fantastic views over the hills. Easy walk into town and a haven from the craziness of Ella town

The view from this hotel is amazing. Beautiful view from room balcony, as well as the main lobby area which is open and has a wonderful breeze and comfy places to sit. Rooms are clean and a good size. Beds are a little firm but comfortable enough. Wifi is hit or miss depending on where you are. Easy 5 minute walk to town and good restaurants. The young men who serve breakfast are very friendly and attentive and the rest of the hotel staff are very nice.

Pizza was excellent, but really need to go into town for lunch or dinner other than a few things. No snacks available. Wifi hit and miss. Book your own tuk tuk or driver.
