Green Hill

The views are spectacular. Lots of nice places to sit and some table games to play. Walking distance to Ella.

Room felt small and a bit dark.

The property has outstanding views of the mountain and valley. They have a huge chilling space / restaurant. The breakfast was great and just kept coming.

The room was slightly unclean with a dirty floor, we had to go down loads of steps to get to our rooms and the location was difficult for cars to get down.

Beautiful views

This was by far the most expensive hotel we booked during our time in Sri Lanka. Very warm welcome and beautiful view from the room. Staff were needlessly apologetic on arrival as a new year celebration party was just finishing up at around 3pm. Stayed for two nights, by the second morning the 2nd evening the shower couldn't give any hot water. Went to bed at 10pm on the 2nd night. Karaoke kicked off upstairs and lasted until 12.30, it was extremely loud. Some lad came downstairs and made a racket, his partner was not impressed and she headed off with her luggage before 1am. Expressed our disappointment the following morning to a nice young lad who had just saved our breakfast after the waiter had forgotten to give our order to the chef. But no real apology was given, really disappointing. Pity we didn't get to see the men who welcomed us so well on departure. Perhaps they had been the ones singing.

The view was great , the young manager was nice , their cupcake and tea was great. The bed was comfortable, there was hot water and car parking available.

There were unfinished buildings around the hotel, very noisy and loud music was played until 1am because of the new year celebrations. Bathroom was not very clean and smelled of sewage. The breakfast wasn't the best, hoppers were hard and cold. They need a new chef. I wouldn't stay here again.

Staff were amazing, always willing to help! Views were fantastic. Good breakfast and good choice of food to order throughout the day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Green Hill. Perfect location. The views are outstanding but you are still only 10 minutes walk into Ella. The service by the team was very good and attentive. The breakfast was lovely. Our bungalow was a decent size. We had a balcony with a breathtaking view, and we sat out one evening watching the fireflies. Would recommend.

The friendly dogs, the location outside the hustle and bustle of the main road, the view was amazing.

It was a little difficult to walk to. Our family room had no window and no space to sit.

Wonderful friendly staff, fabulous generous breakfast and gorgeous view from the breakfast deck! It was also super peaceful. We loved it!

The view from the restaurant open deck area has to be one of the best to overlook Adam’s Peak and surrounds. Spacious comfortable room. Our balcony equally had an amazing view! Restaurant had nice food. Best pizzas! Breakfast was really lovely and a nice range of food. Tables set up beautifully. Attentive friendly staff. We stayed 2 nights; location an easy walk to nine arches and Little Adam’s Peak. Short walk from restaurant/bars.

Dogs on site and I could smell a little odour of them in the rooms. Very cute dashhounds & Lab. One night hot water hit and miss.
