Benslow Music Historic Stay in Hitchin

Check in was fantastic, Jasmine, helped me by allowing me to get into the room earlier. This allowed me to go to a wedding and remain there. As i didn't have to return to Benslow, bewteen 4pm - 8pm to check in. Breakfast staff amazing too, very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. I'm looking for a reason to return for another stay already. Thank you Benslow, I shall return.

Noisy water pipes

Great location, barely a 15 minute walk into town. Loads of parking on site. Breakfast plentiful.

The rooms are basic but exceptionally clean. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable but fine for a couple of days.

A lovely peaceful accommodation. So pleased I found it and will definitely be going back

The room in the lodge was very drab but everything else was perfect.

That it was in pretty grounds set back from the road.

Needs lots of work doing. Windows were in poor condition. Carpets looked old with some stains. Breakfast only served between 8&9am

It was in desperate need of renovation, tired, paint coming off walls, curtains half falling off, pillows incredibly old and lumpy, valance around bottom of bed was dirty, didn’t feel comfortable eating the breakfast after seeing these standards

Quite location restful with out any distractions or TV. Ideally situated with a short walk to the town centre. Breakfast is excellent..

We stayed in a Deluxe room, but its high price did not match the quality. Our experience did not meet our expectations for the category or the price (£90).
