Clean, friendly, warm and welcoming. Amazing breakfast with lots of choice. Food allergies catered for.

Wonderful breakfast made each morning for each guest based on a menu checklist filled out the evening before. Host couple were very friendly.

On street parking was very tight, so we avoided using car so we wouldn't lose our parking space during our stay. The the Host said there was a large convention in town that made parking worse than normal. Fortunately, the quaint downtown area was quite accessible by walking from Portland House.

Very clean. Really friendly staff, who cooked a tremendous breakfast and were very helpful and accommodating. Nice comfy rooms too.

Very welcoming . Lovely comfortable bed and lovely breakfast , what more could you want . Fresh milk available from fridge whenever needed. Hosts very chatty and helpful.

The hosts were very friendly, and helpful. The food, was excellent. The room was very comfortable, the finishing touches ie bottle opener so you could bring a drink back to your room, cold milk and cold bottled water from a fridge at the bottom of the stairs also a nice selection of shortbread and cake to help yourself. We had a lovely stay.
