My Mum and I had a very comfortable stay here. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage. The beds were very comfortable with crisp bedding! It was like being at home! We liked the added touch of homemade biscuits and cake leftevery day in our room. Breakfast was fabulous with lots to choose from and all freshly prepared! What a beautiful property! We were looked after impeccably! Thank you Hilary and Paul for a lovely couple of days!

The breakfast was excellent, hosts were lovely people who looked after us well. Easy bus ride into York from just down the road.

Bed was slightly low and the wooden frame caught our legs when getting in and out, a topper would improve this but it wasn't a major issue.

Loved everything. Beautiful decor. Hosts went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. Great location for short bus trip into centre of York. Amazing breakfast menu.

Lovely and quiet

Really experienced hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Lovely tea and scones on arrival served in the guest lounge. Beautiful breakfast cooked to order, and they did a wonderful job catering to our gluten-free requirements. The bus stop is only 2 mins walk from the guest house into York city.

My partner found the bed uncomfortable, but I found it to be fine. Depends what you like!
