Westergate House

I had a very good stay. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The house is a few miles south of York, but there is a bus, the 415, that stops outside the house that will take you into the middle of the city. All was very good.

A perfect spot for easy travel into York.the bus only took 20 minutes to the centre of York

Breakfast and hosts attention wonderful

Unfortunately I found my mattress a little lumpy. Think we would have preferred one of the other rooms but as we required twin beds it was the only room available

Beautiful house, beautiful gardens, and excellent breakfast. Room fully equipped with everything we needed, nothing was too much trouble. Bus stop just down the road that took us straight into york.

For breakfast, there was a wide menu of traditional English items, cooked to order by Hillary, and accompanied by daily fresh fruit salad. The location is outside city center and easily accessible by the number 415 bus, which runs regularly. Taxi and Uber services readily available as well.

Can't think of anything. The stay was memorable.

Peaceful and oomfortable

Hilary and Paul have hospitality down to a fine art which meant we had a great time and felt really comfortable. A lovely couple and everything you would expect from a comfortable stay in a beautiful setting. Thanks again
