"An absolute treat!"

What a fabulous find! Our hosts accommodated a late arrival, gave excellent directions to help us avoid traffic congestion and served an exceptional breakfast. The bedroom was large and extremely comfortable and we felt well cared for, the slice of Victoria sponge cake was a lovely treat too. Hilary and Paul were very interesting, friendly and informative. 10 out of 10 without hesitation!

Our entire stay at Westergate was wonderful. The welcome with coffee and cake started our time well. The room was spotless, spacious, comfortable and fresh milk in the little fridge was a bonus. There was a comprehensive choice for breakfast, which was delicious. Our hosts were very helpful and made us feel at home. Thank you.

The walks from the property were along a busy main road.

Overall a nice stay, good beds and bedding, lovely breakfast with a great choice and hostess very friendly. Beautiful but traffic noisy gardens too. A nice guest sitting room, but no log burner out of ticking over. It would have made it much pleasant had the guest sitting room been cozy warm.

Traffic noise,a very busy road is on the front. The owners seem to have a thing about a lack of "heating"? Our room was quite cold and when I did as instructed to turn our radiator on late afternoon, it never came on. The main heating wasn't switched on til 7.00 p.m.seemingly! It then took well over an hour and a half for our room to warm up and It was a very cold night. There almost had a frost outside the next morning. No heating in our shower room, not even a pull cord electric on demand heater, and shower was very feeble. If shower was turned on to a decent heat it was just a dribble.
