The property was beautiful and hosts couldn’t be any more accommodating. The food was excellent. The small details added to lovely stay. Fresh milk in the room instead of UHT,Log fire on for our arrival and welcomed with tea and cake.

Faultless. Would have no hesitation in booking again.

"A superb place to stay"

A welcoming, very clean and tastefully decorated house. The room had everything one may need - from toiletries to lint brush, from cotton wool and a packet of tissues to an USB port in a socket. A nice selection of tees and coffee and a little cake every day! A gorgeous sitting room with a fireplace for guests to use and a delicious breakfast. Run by a lovely couple and located in a quiet area (good night sleep guaranteed). Only a 12 minute drive from central York. Would definitely recommend.

Very clean, large, warm, and suitably equipped room with a large bathroom (incl. walk in shower). Decor in keeping with the style of the house. Hosts both helpful and informative. Good location just outside York that is near a Designer Outlet and the Park and Ride. Suitable parking. Breakfast was good with varied options, cooked to order.
