The staff is very very nice. Nice outside common places to chill with a beautiful view on the sea. You can order food any time. They have bikes, kayak and paddles that you can use for free.

Very quiet. No music. Good seafood restaurant just down the road. Staff were friendly and informative. Managers Boyski and Mawai were very helpful especially when I ran into a banking issue and they helped arrange the best transportation to my next destination. It is a very simple accommodation, but had everything I need.And, the mie goreng was top level.

The service staff, everyone is friendly, helpful and always with a smile. The kitchen staff are so accommodating with my food requests and remembers what I like / don't like. Appreciate the thoughtfulness. The room is basic and clean, the accommodation is at a location where I can see both sunrise (from my room) AND sunset (I paddled out and looked towards the shore. How wonderful to wake up to the view and the sound of the sea breeze, rustling leaves and chirping birds. Love it!! They have bikes for you to cycle and explore the island.

The light in the toilet can be fixed, not sure if the mozzies are coming through the hole in the ceiling. There's no housekeeping, which is fine but a broom may be helpful so that I can sweep out the sand that got accumulated over the days. If you are sensitive to sandflies, try to cover up when you go to the beach at dawn and dusk. If you are thinking of a swim in the morning, plan your trip according to the nup tide, it will be very helpful.

The location is far and nothing to do post 5-6pm

Bed was comfortable, room was clean and I like the minimalist island decor of my room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt very safe staying there as a solo female traveller. Water at the beach is shallow and warm. Planet Samudra next door is a wonderful place to hang out for pizza or dinner and drinks. Just walk left by the beach and you can see it, 20 steps away. The warung outside has delicious Padang food and gado-gado which I had for 4 days straight for lunch. There is also a convenience store outside next to the warung (literally 10 steps away) where I get my teh botol sosro. So it’s pretty convenient. The hotel also serves excellent nasi goreng and other food. My intention was to simply laze around the beach in a quiet environment and that’s exactly what I did. As it’s very popular for kite surfing, you can watch people kite surf the whole day and try if you like. The hotel provides instructors and gear for a nominal fee.otherwise there is stand up paddle board for free. They also have massages that you can either take in your own room or by the beach. If you need hot water showers then you need to time them when the water tank has been heated by the sun around 12pm-3pm is a good timing. However most days when it’s warm, a cold shower is not that bad! There is also a water point that you can fill up your water bottle with hot, cold and room temperature water. I am looking forward to coming back here!

Would be great if we had hot water showers all day for cold nights especially or rainy days

- the location had the best view possible - the breakfast was really good and they prepared pure vegetarian meals for me - the staff was extremely friendly and helpful as they helped me with gasoline to clean my greased hair

- can add a small cupboard

The staff was attentive especially Mawei. He was on point for all our needs. We love that the owner’s sister, Arlyn was there to also see to it that all was fine with us. We love the hospitality that was extended to us! Will definitely come back. The rooms were clean and there was mineral water for us. Also there was a hot & cold water dispenser at the seating/eating area.That was great!

The mattresses on the beds were a little lumpy. Other than that there was hot water for showering which was good!
