SGSGSGIt's a great place to do the kitesurfing and other water activities. There is an excellent seafood restaurant nearby. If you consider this place just to lay around and chill, probably you can find a better place.

PLSGIt was just we needed to get away for the long weekend. It is a good place to relax, very quite & calm environment - far from the town and just beside the beach. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. Breakfast was decent & friendly helpful staffs. They normally reply very fast for your enquiries through booking.com, so it was quite easy to plan my trip and stay. There are few restaurants within 5-10mins distance.

SGThe TenRooms staff is super friendly and attentive. I highly value the very personal and almost family & friends like atmosphere. When leaving we didn't just got to know a new hotel or resort, but it felt more like we made new friends. We stayed at TenRooms to go kiteboarding. The location is not just an excellent kiteboarding spot, but the staff is also super helpfull around anything about kiting - from setting up the kites to helping to launch to helping with kite repairs. All staff knows how to kite and half of the staff are even kiteboarding instructors - so you are in excellent hands here. Also on land the staff is super helpful (as an example: When we walked to a nearby restaurant it started to rain and one of the staff, who knew we were going there, got on his motorbike to bring us 2 umbrellas). We will definitively come back, making this now a regular getaway for us.
Breakfast (which is included) and lunch menu could have a little more variety. Other than that I didn't miss anything.
SG1) Very supportive staff. They did their best during the blackout that happened during our stay. They helped us with booking a cab from and to Tanjung Pinang. 2) Great view. You can see the unspoiled horizon directly from your room. 3) There is a good seafood restaurant nearby (5 mins walk).
