Oemah Batur

Owner and his father were so wonderful and could not have been more helpful to us! They prepared us wonderful meals and gave us such helpful advice. Location is on the mount Batur trek and very close to the hot springs! The rooms are clean and so cute! The pool and subbed is lovely and an all round wonderful stay.

The area is so surrounded by flies which we found so frustrating, but could not be helped as it’s a farming area.

the location and views were lovely, a little bit out of the way, which was nice because it was quiet. the staff were fantastic, so kind and accommodating.

my only complaint was the bathroom, it smelled kind of like a port a potty (I had to make sure I kept the door closed so my room didn’t smell), and the shower wasn’t the nicest, but not dirty or unusable.

We stayed here before hiking to Mt. Batur and it is located close to the starting trail, which was perfect. The garden is well maintained and the staff was very friendly. The room has enough storage space and the bathroom was clean. We didn't have hot water but the owner took us to really nice local natural hot spring baths. Which was just the right thing our muscles needed after the hike and there were only two more locals visiting the baths while we were there!

We felt very warmly welcomed by the kind staff of Oemah Batur. They can arrange anything like hikes, scooters and taxi's. It's a very small and cosy setting with a beautiful hut. Recommended 100%

The sanitary wasn't as clean as we would've liked

Great location directly on the trekking trail to Mt Batur Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They helped us with everything. We booked a hiking sunrise trip and the organisation was just perfect!

The bathroom smelled pretty bad but everything was really clean!

overall well managed and the stay is comfortable and relaxing.

actually nothing that I don’t like

I only stayed here one night, but I would absolutely come back and stay again. I loved the outdoor area with a nice sitting area overlooking the pool and views of the mountains. I was staying in the area to run a race, so I didn't get to relax and enjoy the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, even making me a late breakfast once I got back from the race. The room is spacious and clean and it's very quiet at night.

Staff was kind, room was clean and cozy, food was great and the location is on the path for Mt Batur trekking. Highly recommend especially for trekkers as a late check out (noon) allows for snoozing after the long trek.
