"Clean, friendly B&B"

A newly refurbished and decorated twin room which, although small, was clean and comfortable for my short stay. Tea and coffee were provided. I slept well in the quiet, dark room and enjoyed the breakfast. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and the location was great, close to the sea and the town.

Emma and her colleagues were extremely welcoming and allowed me to lodge my bicycle in a front room at the property. My room was comfortable and the breakfasts taken next door were excellent. I really felt that The Neptune went out of their way to make me feel welcome and would strongly recommend the premises

"Close to the ferry at Cairnryan so a good overnight stop. Minutes from a beach ."

Lovely room with a sea view. Spacious and well equipped . Comfortable beds. Good shower. Tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly host. Lovely harbour walk minutes from the property. Easy free parking.

The only negative was the road noise. It’s a very busy road . If you are a light sleeper you should request a room at the back but then you don’t get the sea view. Our room was excellent just a bit aware of road noise.

The location is ideal to take a morning ferry out. And the people running the place are very nice. There is ample parking outside and a few parking locations have electric car charging stations.

Our shower didn’t have hot water it was only luke warm at best and the heater was not warm either.
