The Mystical Orchard

Very friendly welcome and comprehensive brief about the facilities. The room was bright and airy and there was the bonus of exclusive use of a second "living" room. Facilities were excellent, and my (admittedly last minute) request for gluten free food was met and exceeded. The addition of a microwave was a very welcome bonus. The area is quiet and peaceful with excellent scenery and the outside area was well presented and maintained - an excellent sun trap too! The bathroom contains a bath but no shower, however, this was just to my preference.

Virtually nothing. Maybe a number on the gate to help locate but this is a minor niggle.

The location is fantastic, just yard's away from the town centre.the garden is lovely,the waterbed is really comfortable,the sofa in the lounge area is very comfortable the table and chairs in the lounge area are perfect for breakfast, which is continental type bread eggs and cereal and jams , a toaster and microwave.its also great if you are bringing a takeaway back to the room.,there is a bath but no shower.we did not get a chance to sit in the garden,but there are chairs if you so wish ,it's extremely quiet at night and you can park on the road very close to the house.

Perhaps a lick of paint in the rooms is required... Better signage, to spot it easier from the road .

Second time staying here! Love the water bed and the extra private living/dining room that comes with it. We made our own eggs for breakfast and of course, the garden is lovely and Paul is always very welcoming!

Nothing to say really - other than perhaps the blinds don’t completely keep out light from outside, but I have an eye mask so that was fine!

I was walking the Wales Coast Path. Paul, the host, offered to pick me up and take me to the accommodation because it's a steep hill up to Hollywell. I really appreciated that. I also liked having my own sitting room.

I couldn't get the TV to work properly.

Great location. Paul was the perfect host. Going over & above, making my stay great.

Paul was super helpful and kind. He even collected me from the station. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe. Had my own little sitting room slept on a comfy water bed and had a self help breakfast in the morning.

Good to try the boiled egg cooker. Great local history info in handbook. Nice sitting/dining room and garden. Nice range of channels etc on tv. Freedom to come and go and make food when needed with a fridge.

Surprised there was only a curtain on the bathroom door and a window to bedroom. Also the close proximity to their family bedroom affected the feeling of privacy. Also the privacy felt a bit vulnerable with no lock on the bedroom door. Perhaps add the egg cooker info to the handbook and which tv profiles are ok to use.

The bed was amazing.
