Beautiful and delightful property in a scenic location with wonderful views. Very comfortable bed, and many thoughtful touches. Very warm welcome by extremely kind and friendly hosts. Plentiful delicious varied breakfast with fresh fruit.

Everything, Pauline and her husband were lovely kind and friendly people the room lovely and clean and the breakfast was second to none a little local pub just up the road aswell piece and quiet it's all you could need for a break

We loved everything about our stay For my part which was not the hosts fault atall going up to the cottage because I have arthritis in my knees so that part for me was very painful but when you get up there the cottage is absolutely beautiful Thankyou to both our hosts would happily recommend Hillside Cottage to anyone Thankyou very much 😊 ❤️

Beautiful house and garden in a very pretty village outside Ledbury. The house was perfect, great facilities and Pauline and John the owners were absolutely lovely you couldn’t wish for better hosts

Everything was perfect

Friendly welcoming host. They were available at any time, but didn't intrude on our stay. It felt like we were being welcomed into their home, and nothing was too much trouble. They catered for our every need. Will definitely be returning again. Thankyou .

The only minor issue was that the shower was not ensuite, but was private.

Lovely clean and comfortable house, we had a good sized room with ensuite toilet and view of the garden, and a shower room across the hall which wasn't used by anyone else. We also had use of the lounge/dining room and the garden. The breakfast was very tasty and filling, with a full English as well as cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit salad on offer. Pauline and John are lovely, very friendly and welcoming hosts. This is in a very quiet village location, but within easy reach of Ledbury (less than 10 minutes' drive) and the surrounding area. There are also some excellent places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Can't say anything negative about the accommodation, but the location is reached by some narrow, unlit country lanes, so just something to be aware of if you aren't confident on those roads (although it's not busy).

Early check in was possible, 2:30pm. Host was nice and friendly, very informative. There were some nice mini biscuits left on the tea tray. Breakfast was great - Pauline was happy to provide what we required (in my case, hot water and lots of toast, for my friend, a standard full English Breakfast). I sat outside for a while and enjoyed the fantastic views of the garden and the local scenery and hills. I was visiting for a rest, and to assist a friend riding in the area. For the room that we stayed in, you will be contacted to ask how you would like the bed configured - as two single beds or as a large double.

Nothing Internet and phone reception was a bit patchy, but that is nothing to do with the cottage, but a lot to do with the hills. We struggled a bit when were out and about, to keep in touch with each other. I was supporting a friend riding his bike around the area.

The hosts Pauline and John made us feel very welcome and they went that extra mile. We required early breakfasts each day and they were served on time with a smile and a chat.
