The room was nice and cosy and the bed extremely comfortable. The lady (I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) who booked us in was polite, friendly and helpful. Showed us to our room and around the excellent facilities.

layout of the bedroom was good although radiator valve difficult to use so room and bathroom was cold

More Area - didn't feel safe in this area Upon arrival no check in, bar maid whilst serving eventually dealing with me, didnt show me where the communal kitchen was just said its round the corner, she tried to turn the room radiators on without success. there was no check out so had to discover how to get out of the pub on my own. nobody on site to discuss my issues the following day Expensive for what it actually provided - I wish I had stayed at another well known hotel which was cheaper and better facilities but I stayed at this place as it would have saved me time for my meeting but I had a terrible experience upon reflection I should have stayed there and got a taxi to where I needed to go. I emailed my issues but got back no apologise but excuses Communal areas Atmosphere of the pub\hotel no food served at Pub although menu of local restaurants provide which was overpriced and one other pizza takeaway place Noise levels - loud music in pub of local residents drinking since lunch time (told this by the bar maid) and people arguing in the court yard above the bedroom I was sleeping in Layout of the bedroom was good although radiator valve difficult to use so room and bathroom was cold I would never recommend this accommodation I emailed them of my experience and received excuses, I would have been happy to get return of some money matching where I would have stayed

Room clean, staff very kind

The fact that after 10.30 pm i was told that there would be nobiody for check-in: my train was late and I couldnt help. That caused me stress.

Great location, good facilities and really lovely. I really liked the pub downstairs too. It was lovely and friendly. Pub was quiet when we were upstairs too.

It was great

Easily one of the nicest small places I've stayed in. Well appointed, extra clean and very comfortable. Clearly, a lot of time and effort has been put into this place to achieve that. Thanks to the very friendly staff for a great but all too short a visit.
