Wanted to change check in time due to ferry and Chris was accommodating.

Chris was a wonderful host ! It's a lovely quirky house, and our room was huge with high ceilings and big windows. Perfectly clean and comfortable

We missed the part about the shared bathroom when booking, but it didnt really matter because noone else was there at the time! If you don't mind this, everything else is perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming B&B. It's ideally located just a short walk from both the shops and the beach, making it perfect for exploring the area. The house and garden are absolutely beautiful and offer a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Our room featured a huge, incredibly comfortable bed, and the breakfasts were varied and delicious, with flexible timing that really suited our plans. Most of all, Chris, the host, was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations and local insights about the island. Highly recommended!

We were made very welcome and Chris was very friendly and helpful. The house is spacious and full of character.

Location was perfect. Chris, the host, was very accommodating and reactive to our requests. I think most of the positive comments for this property however have been for the rooms upstairs.

We paid more than we usually would for a basic two bed accommodation as we booked very last minute. It felt like we were staying in accommodation that was someone’s home rather than a holiday let. Many of the drawers and cupboards were full of owners things. Some of the furniture had been heavily clawed by cats, and other bits were very tired. The apartment could do with updating. There was a lot of foliage around the windows, as a result we had so many mosquitos in the rooms and felt we could t sleep with the windows open. The stairs to the garden were extremely narrow and the area leading to the garden was very damp.

Breakfast. We eat musili and there was fresh fruit. But apart from Peanut Butter little protein I know cooking eggs is a phaff but some boiled eggs are easy and can be left. Some ham or cheese perhaps.

The rooms (and beds!) are spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The host is charming and helpful, whilst also very sensitive to letting his guests have their own space and independence. Breakfast is help yourself from a very well stocked supply (that was continually restocked!) We loved having breakfast in the garden in the morning and tea and biscuits there at night. We felt very at home, and well looked after. There is free on-street parking and it's a short walk both to the beach and Ryde town centre. I would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend.

Literally the only thing that occurs to me is that the lid to the french press for the coffee was missing :)
