We wish to inform you of a change in arrangements for delivery of luggage from Sark Harbor to our Guest House The Old Forge. If you have any luggage you need transporting please get a Island Deliveries luggage tag from the shipping offices in Guernsey/Jersey and write on them our address being The Old Forge, and your luggage will automatically be delivered up for you at a charge currently of £2.50 per bag each (maybe be more if a very large bag/box etc) way payable here upon arrival/before check out.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Fantastic B&B ++ with beautiful views"

Lovely clean, comfortable & spacious room (3) with fantastic views. We loved the homemade granola, bread & jams & the use of the kitchen & lounge too was fantastic. We really enjoyed the laid back relaxed atmosphere (the B&B & the island itself) We walked lots & slept well. Hosts were friendly, welcoming & quick to respond to my WhatsApp messages re checking in/out etc.

It was all good.

"Wonderful stay in beautiful house"

The house is absolutely stunning! We had such a wonderful time in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Caragh and Simon were lovely hosts, making sure we had everything we needed whilst also respecting our privacy. We can’t wait until our next stay at the Old Forge!

We loved everything, including the location (and walking around) but it can be a lengthy walk to parts of the island, if you aren’t prepared for it or don’t have a bike.

"Beautiful home away from home on a unique and wonderful island."

Our host Holly was extremely helpful, and always available to help with any problems. She even brough fresh firewood so that we could use the fireplace. The kitchen was well stocked, and fresh bread was brought every day. A very quiet and scenic part of the Island with lots of wonderful walks. We were very happy with our decision to visit out of season..

We had some initial problems with the heating, but probably to be expected after a big storm two days before. Holly was very helpful in getting it sorted, and once it was working the place was very comfortable.

"A lovely short getaway in a gorgeous shared house"

Our rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and the double bed that I slept in was genuinely the most comfortable bed I've ever experienced. Wonderful big bath as well as a lovely shower. The facilities were great, we had everything we needed.

The only downside to us was that it was further than usual from the centre of town than we usually stay, so it felt like a bit of a task to make our way back from the pub 😂 Other than that, no complaints!
