Location is fabulous. I had a large bedroom and a living room in the basement. Both were spacious; the Wi-Fi was functional; Vicky communicated very well, so everything went smoothly; I could leave my luggage in the hallway for several hours before my departure from Lewes. It was very helpful.

We stayed in the basement Courtyard Apartment. Vicky was a wonderful host and we had a fantastic time. The property is perfectly situated in central Lewes and with the benefit of off street parking not too far away. The directions to the property and access details are easy. Everything we could have wanted was taken care of. The apartment was spotlessly clean and on arrival Vicky ensured there was milk for tea and plenty of tea and coffee available. In the morning she even provided fresh fruit and orange juice which was really unexpected and very welcome. Everyday the apartment and bathrooms were cleaned. This was a lovely surprise which we were not expecting. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. The bed was super comfortable and we had several great nights sleep. Great location and very friendly hostess. Room was beautiful with many luxurious touches, especially the library and the stand-alone bathtub.

We were given the opportunity to upgrade to a room "at the top of the stairs" ... we didn't know it was six flights of stairs.

Very welcoming host. Tea milk fresh orange juice etc provided.
