Exquisite 300-year-old property decorated in period style. Looks like you are walking into Victoria magazine. The husband and wife team are gracious and attentive with their guest in mind.

"One of the most beautiful and welcoming locations we've stayed in!"

We stayed at Templemacateer for one night while attending a festival in the area and the house and grounds exceeded our expectations in every way! One of the loveliest locations we've stayed at, with a beautifully kept house, vibrant gardens, and friendly hosts. We were even introduced to the farm animals, which made the trip for us! Templemacateer is a little slice of paradise.

"A charming night in the Irish countryside"

The space was absolutely beautiful and Declan was a great host! We sadly had to leave before the full breakfast but he still got up early to make us coffee and toast which was really sweet.

Thin walls but that is to be expected for an older home so it didn’t bother us!

"Absolute Perfection!"

Definitely the most beautiful place we stayed at while in Ireland for the week. A historic mansion with immaculate grounds, very nice hosts (Bernie and Declan), terrific rooms (incl a living room w/ a fire going in the fireplace when we arrived), an xlnt bkfst, and, best of all, the sweetest dog (Prim) to greet us and keep us company. There's also a cool black kitty cat and two ponies (one of whom is named Mr. Nibbles; bring apples for them!). Loved it!

Nothing. It was perfect. Don't forget to bring your own USB hub to charge phones. It's an old home!

"Absolute gem!"

Very friendly welcome, tea and homemade cake by a real fire on arrival. Bernie gave us lots of interesting historical info about the house and grounds. After a great breakfast, Declan took us to see the hens, ponies and pigs (and 9 VERY cute piglets). Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Would definitely return.
