The location is great and the staff were really helpful. We had a really comfortable stay and the breakfast was lovely.

Staff were lovely. Nice big room and ideal central location. Bath in the room was a bonus! Breakfast in cafe was nice before open to the public.

Some little extras were missing and could easily be added. Fridge advertised and not in room. A chair and drawer units would be useful and shelf/unit in bathroom. Bath stuff would have been a good addition as had to go out and buy. Only half the lights in the bathroom worked and door was very loud!

The location and decor were splendid

Lack of airconditioning made nights somewhat uncomfortable.

Situé près de la gare et de la rue principale de la vieille ville. Cet établissement se découvre, car on ne voit pas le numéro 26, en effet c’est dans le Tea-room Eat and Live qu’il faut s’annoncer. La chambre au 2eme (The Estuary) avec ses portes un peu plus bas (attention si vous mesurez plus que 170) est très bien décorée avec des couleurs blanches et claires. Let double lit est très confortable, la literie blanche excellente. La salle de bain est grande avec sa baignoire à pied et son espace séparé pour la douche .

Il y a juste le robinet de l’eau froide dans la s.d.b qui coule et a besoin d’être fixé

Didn’t like anything at all- and have stayed here pre covid many times -Only positive was the staff member Amanda who went above & beyond when checking in and during our stay. We had no goodbye by the other older woken short hair fair- just took the the keys off us- really!! Is this hospitality at no26- breakfast we paid for first morning before checking in as arrived early from a 3 hrs car drive down- horrendous & expensive couldn’t believe it was served on a tin plate not even a proper plate - So over priced and food was not nice at all- this place was better a few years ago- the whole place from breakfast room /coffee shop to the rooms staircase ALL was dirty tatty and scuffs everywhere in the rooms, caroet ripped torn stains all over carpets in the stairs as well - cheap & mis match linen cheap pillows - kettle had bits inside with previous water left in it- tea coffee suger not topped up - 1 toilet roll for 2 guests 2 nights- no shower gel- o milk like before in the fridge - Radom previous peoples coat hangers - honestly this was a big let down considering the price with NO breakfast included not that we would eat there again- even though we know al lot of other eateries we thought would give it a go for breakfast - needs alot of TLC everywhere - reduce your room rates as £110 for a room that’s not up to standards - or re-introduce breakfast included with a new chef - no care and your counter area is filthy.

Large bedroom with great shower and bath

Advertised as sound proof room, which it clearly wasn’t. Could hear the person snoring in next room. Also single glazed windows, room onto hight street so lots of noise from outside. No free parking or breakfast included

Bed mattress not very comfortable , room very hot. Difficult to park close by
