The location is great. And the garden common area is lovely plus the breakfast is delicious!

My mother had stayed at Villa Helena a few years ago for a week and raved about how fantastic it was as a hotel - The standards high and worth the money. So we booked it for our trip this year. We were in a room off the garden and unfortunately we were disappointed to find a room with a lot of mosquitoes and no plugged in repellents. The door was also not securely closed even when locked which probably made it easier for the bugs to come in. The sheets did not also seem like they had been cleaned properly, with various stains on both the sheet and the blanket. These are things that could perhaps have been a bit more overlooked if the price wasn’t as high as it is. They are also easily amended and definitely worth doing if maintaining the same price point.

Centrally located hotel with a beautiful tranquil courtyard. All the sites in White Town are within walking distance. The staff was super attentive and the hostess very helpful. The French breakfast was really good.

The mosquitos are rampant, even indoors
