The history of this hotel is wonderful & its location is easily accessible to much in Rye walking. The hosts were outstanding in care for guests, as well as staff, going above & beyond! The full gourmet breakfast was completely delicious, homemade & made to order!

"Beautiful accommodation steeped in history in the heart of Rye"

Wonderful place situated right in the heart of Rye. It had been restored beautifully with authentic decour and the breakfast in the morning was phenomenal. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was also nice and quiet so no concerns about noise and not being able to go to sleep.

My only issue was with the fact that the room didn't have blackout curtains and light poured in before 6am in the morning making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise couldn't fault this place and would definitely stay again.

Charming building packed with original features and steeped in history. Parking was provided (definite plus in Rye) and the room was spacious and fully equipped - Breakfast was excellent and we had a lovely stay

"no problems , car parking a bonus in a very old part of the town with little street parking."

Fantastic location! Comfy beds Lovely breakfast Friendly staff

Nothing - although this property is c1700 so internal steps are steep and narrow should this be an issue for you.
