"Historic Splendour"

Jeakes House is steeped in history situated on the fabulous cobblestone Mermaid Street. The building is beautiful and ,as the proprietors warn you, full of quirky steep staircases to your wonderful period rooms. We stayed in the TS Elliot room situated on the top floor. It's best to pack a smaller bag. The breakfast room was beautiful and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

Beautiful - wouldn’t change a thing. The cleanliness was A star. The owners and staff were all so friendly and welcoming. If you’re going to stay in Rye stay here.
