We didn't get the breakfast, but it looked very good!

The sink in the room was clogged - drained VERY slowly. Seems that should have been noticed by staff when the room was cleaned before we arrived.

"More than just a room"

Breakfast was wonderful. It was served at 8am, and we joined the other guests in the dining room and exchanged travel stories. It was great being able to have a meal with others during our trip; this part is optional though, for anyone who isn't up for the socializing. The location was gorgeous, and functioned perfectly both as a place to lodge and as a historical experience. The home is full of historical furniture and decor, plus some media from the time period. The town itself was great to stay in. My partner and I had dinner at a restaurant the hostess recommended, and it was a very cozy place to eat at.
