Quietness The house has some charm, but it will not stand by itself. Host must put values to it to earn repeaters.

You would think that we can expect breakfast, right? Wrong! You must pay extra for breakfast. Apparently, some web, but not all, does clearly state the fact that there is no breakfast, unless you pay extra $. It was not clear at all for me, when I booked. I did not see "Breakfast for extra charge". I do not think the host is trying to be decepticve, but I felt that way, anyway. One of the big draw to B&B is breakfast. The other thing is that there are only two bath rooms for the entire house. One king room has its own bathroom, but the remaining three bedrooms upstairs must share one bathroom downstairs. This may have been standard until early 20th century, but in 21st century??? Running a commercial business with one bath? It is unfortunate that the house itself has some charms, but I did not see any efforts trying to capture repeater guests. When people are treated well, they will come back again and again, but I did not see any hint of that. I felt the host is playing zero-sum game with the guests, our loss is their gain. If you treat people like that, no repeaters.

Location was convenient in beautiful mountain area. Quiet small town. Stacey, owner and manager, is friendly and offers good travel tips.

Historic house is interesting and offers glimpse of life in a nice house a century ago.

The decor was interesting, the bed was comfortable and coffee was provided.

That I couldn’t explore the upstairs for future stays.
