Crookedstone House

Primrose was a nice lady. The bedrooms were of a good size, the bathroom was massive with a great shower

The smell of the inside was horrible, a musky smell permeated the inside environs. The gown was dirty as were the mattress cover and parts of the room next to the windows. There were 3 flies already enjoying the room before we got there. No fridge, TV didn't work and bathroom is communal. We kept our windows closed as the smell of dog faeces was overwhelming. Literally dog poo everywhere outside the back. Worst of all was the incessant barking and dog growling which made sleep all but impossible. The dogs barked ALL NIGHT stopping for a few minutes before restarting. This is not a hotel worth £90 per night. The location is good but good luck finding the property, there is NO signage to say this is the place you are actually staying. The map pin is further than stated.

It's a working farm and my son and I really loved the rusticness of it we are dog lovers and we really loved all the dogs and horses we had a lovely time. The Hosts were very kind and helpful and welcoming.

The property was smelly, dirty flies everywhere. Disgusting overall. Didn’t last 5 minutes also the owner was rude after I said to her it wasn’t for me and couldn’t stay. Shouted to me to get out. Took me months to fight for some sort of refund and she tried to say I didnt even check in she’s a scammer and I’ll do everything I can so no one doesn’t ever book here. Disgusting even then booking.com give me only half a refund for a 5 min visit to this disgusting place

Smell filth and rudeness

The welcoming committtee of some very nice dogs and the distance from the airport for our very early start the next day.

The noise & the animals , only found out that is a working farm 3 days before

The host was super friendly and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Besides that it was a very animal environment. If you love animals, you should definitely visit this accommodation which is very close to the airport aswell.

I didn’t have breakfast however the stay was absolutely joyful, property with character and care. 👌🏽

Not a lot I didn’t like

The house is an amazing 17th century farm property. Lots of animals. Primrose was a most excellent hostess; the bed was so comfortable, the linens were amazing as was the breakfast.
