Amazing friendly host, mega comfy bed in front bedroom. lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Lots of dogs to fuss 😊

Before our stay we were informed the property has many dogs. Whilst this was not a problem for us, if you are not a dog fan or timid of them you probably shouldn't stay. 😬

What a wonderful place to stay, so charming and peaceful, felt like a royal, didn't even need to watch the TV, just enjoyed the tranquility of the place

Nothing not to like

One of the nicest B&Bs we've ever been in. Lovely rural surrounding near Belfast International Airport, quiet garden room, comfortable bed and a very delicious full Irish breakfast. The bathroom with not only a shower but also a bath tub has been cleaned every day. Primrose is a very attentive host and had lots of sightseeing suggestions. And the best benefit of all: the rescue dogs living on the farm. Best greetings to Finn, Archie, Goggles and all the others!

Near the airport,location is convenient

The smell of the dogs, the rooms are very hot,we were sweating the whole night and itching all over. The bed smells like it was not cleaned and there are hairs or dog fur on the bed. Carpet all over and it smells,one room got a dog poo on the floor.

On the day of check-in, just before my flight from London, the owner wrote to me that she would not check me in. She wanted an additional fee of £81 per night. I had nowhere to sleep in Belfast so I booked another hotel. The booking in Crokedstone was made over a year in advance so they had a lot of time if there was something wrong with the price, yet they did not notify me until the afternoon of the day of check-in. Booking.com was completely unhelpful and only offered a free cancellation.

The house was difficult to locate. The location was a bit out of town, l got frightened when I got to the house because of the environment and the Taxi driver who took me there was panicking as well and refused to drop me there which I agreed with him so had to look for another hotel to lodge. I asked for a refund but wasn't given my money back. What l saw on booking.com is totally different from what my eyes saw. I will never forget the panic episode I had

The location, being only 1.5 miles from Belfast International, is ideal. It is possible as well to get food delivered from various restaurants in the surrounding area. The rooms and layout of the building is very traditionally Irish, and is a cozy, homely retreat for somewhere that is so close to civilization.

As reported in previous reviews this place is very dog friendly and this reflects in the aroma in the house, I am a dog lover but it was overwhelming. But was ok for one night.
