We stayed at Harbour House that was overlooking the shipping yards that look after the offshore oil platforms and it was a fascinating sight.. The Restaurant had fab food and had a wonderful ‘can do’ approach when it comes to providing a menu that is equally inviting to those who are gluten free. Staff were all helpful and friendly and my sincere best wishes to chef Rob for his culinary delights and Melissa, the Front Office Manager who was so welcoming, accomadating and helpful. We had a delightful conversation about the artistic pictures and photos that were there in the restaurant area generally, so any artistic folk - you’d find it interesting to for a meal there. Please don’t expect luxury accomadation- it is down to earth basic accommodation sometimes with a detached bathroom facilities and accommodating folk working nearby. But secure, friendly, fab food and Melissa. Now I’m trying to find another excuse to go and stay there again!

great location, everything was clean and comfy. outstanding value for money. Breakfast was nice as well and also got dinner there upon my arrival.

it's a 3 floor property that has really creaky floorboards when you walk about so I felt bad for others moving about at 10/11pm. A bathroom shelf would've been nice for toiletries as there wasn't anywhere to put anything in my bathroom. The doors have the autoclose mechanism which slam really loud if you just let go so be careful late at night and morning as this woke me a couple times.

"This property is like a hostel. Mainly is used and geared for oil/ oil rig workers. Not for tourists. The Ship Inn"

I had to leave the property. Facilities were not bad - as in shared kitchen and sitting area. Staff extremely nice and friendly and helpful.

The carpet is grungy and needs replaced. The room had had a smoker and the smell was trying to be disguised with air freshener. Size was ok but not warm and welcoming. Cheap bedding, furniture and fixings.
