"We needed accommodation at short notice and the Little Ship Inn suited perfectly"

10.0

The breakfast was buffet-style for both hot and cold food.

The bathroom could have done with a soap tray in the shower a hook on the door and a shelf by the sink. The shower door didn’t close tightly.

"OK but odd set-up"

3.0

Nice staff at the main check in building. Heating,

Odd set-up and very impersonal, just a building with rooms and a couple of communal spaces. Breakfast was another building 300m away, no kettle in the room and the communal kitchen wasn't clear if the drinks were for everyone. The room looked over the road with no filter so either the curtains were shut, or there was no privacy. The previous user had stuffed paper into the keyhole which was weird. I had to bring my bike up the stairs into the room to be certain it was safe.

"It was only a brief overnight stop which will be painfully remembered!"

6.0

Being over 80, it was quite a walk to the annex. When my colleague and I went in, it was quite dim. As we were proceeding to the stairs, I failed to see the small step before them over which I tripped and fell. I banged my head against the banister support post, hurt my right shoulder, staved the third finger in my right hand and severely bruising my left knee causing it to swell to almost twice its size. Luckily you did not have a faitallity. Suggestion. Place a sensory light on this step.

"Decent stay that fits an overnight stay while passing through."

8.0

The room was basic but adequate. It was clean, comfortable enough, the tartan bedding was a design I like seeing while in Scotland. Heater worked when I was a bit chilly at night. Free parking on the street was easy. Check in was easy enough at the main hotel, quick walk down the block, and nice to have a breakfast included.

The floors were creaky and could hear the neighbor's door slamming shut. I also prefer having a sheet between myself and the blanket (maybe I missed finding it though).
