Breakfast arrangements were lovely.

Would have been cool if there was a bar!!!!!

The room was a good size (Room 9) with plenty of storage for clothes (2 double wardrobes) and the hotel has parking included within the cost of the booking. There is a small fridge which is good to keep drinks chilled if required. The bed is huge and comfortable to lie on.

As soon as we walked into the room (Room 9) the smell of damp was apparent. The room was also cold. We left our things and went into Weymouth...we came back just before 5pm and the room was still cold. I asked about this and was told the heating was just about to come on. It took a while to heat up, but the bathroom stayed cold for our entire time there. There is only a heated towel rail, which is not enough to heat the bathroom. I moved the bedside table to the left of the bed out to plug in a phone charger and the plug sockets were dusty and dirty. I didn't venture anywhere else! The room is tired and dated. The shower in the bathroom suffers from low water pressure and anybody over 6ft tall would struggle to fit under the shower head. The mixer shower fittings and the shower head rail are loose and move easily. The hotel is on a main road, and the noise from the traffic keeps you awake at night. It was like sleeping with the windows open (they were closed) the road was that noisy. In fact you cannot open the bathroom window if you wanted to as there is no handle, it's fixed shut. There was a good choice of breakfast and we were asked what we wanted. I asked for poached eggs on toast. A tray of toast was bought to us, along with our hot drinks when we sat down. When the eggs arrived, there were just two poached eggs, no toast...I think I was expected to use the (now cold) toast with the eggs given to me....very odd. I decided not to mention this as the owner had been very dismissive of a couple during breakfast (quite loudly, it was easy for everybody to hear) while also stating that 'people demanded more after covid' and 'I've been doing this for 27 years, I've got another two left and I'm finishing'. I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend anybody to stay here.

Bed was amazing really didn't want to move . Breakfast was second to none Host was absolutely 💯 👌

The host was very helpful.The room was big and very comfortable. Lovely breakfast.

Nothing to dislike but please put some coasters in the room for cups because the table and chest of drawers were all marked which was a shame.

Everything - amazing place and owner. Fabulous breakfast. Great location. Lots of free parking.
