"Visite de Cong Indispensable"

Très joli endroit au bord de la rivière. Cour et salon très accueillants. Thé, café et confiseries à disposition. Chambre et salle de douche/WC OK, conforme à description. Rachael attentive

Le petit déjeuner très (trop) abondant, plein de propositions industrielles. Aurions apprécié moins mais de meilleure qualité, à commencer par le pain.

"Fantastic accommodation, beautiful setting."

Beautifully decorated accommodation right along a river and a wonderful breakfast. Could walk to town for dinner. Rachael, our host, was warm and friendly and a great cook. The Falconry Experience at Ashford Castle was thrilling. Not to be missed.

Rachel, the property owner is amazing. Her home is beautifully decorated and most comfortable. The rooms are cozy and I had the best night sleep in Ireland. Her breakfasts are highly nourishing and very satisfying. Rachel goes beyond expectations to provide her guests with a great stay. The close proximity to Cong afforded us the ability to walk to town for dinner and entertainment. A great stay for our family of seven.

"​We really had a great stay in Salmon Weir Lodge."

​We spent 6 nights with 2 teenagers. We were very well received by Rachael. The lodge is typically Irish and well located, just near the river and just at 2mn from the center of Cong village at walking. The lodge is very confortable, clean and easy to access with a car park. The room was spacious and well furnished, with good beds. Every day, the breakfast was just amazing with new meals ! Everything was good, fresh and tasty, specially the homemade "mimosa eggs" and the various salted pies. Congratulations Rachael ! Rachael is very available and she gave us a lot of good advices to visit Connemara, Galway or others villages. ​We sincerely thank you very much for everything Rachael. We will never forget our stay !

"Clean, comfortable, good locaiton, and good breakfast"

Breakfast was very good with a large selection. We were traveling with several family members so having a variety was very nice. Fun to try some local items as well. The rooms were very clean and well maintained.
